kendod27
Hey guys. I'm trying to import an CSV file that was provided by my supplier but running into issues, mainly cant get it to work. Will try to add the file that was provided with this post. (update: not allowed to upload that type of file) I'm currently using latest version of Prestashop and default theme. I assume I will need to edit the file so that it is compatible but not sure where to start. There are thousands of products so would be sensible to simply import rather than manually add each and every product. The product list is updated daily to keep track of live (daily) product availability. So, once up and running, I would be looking to update the CSV file on a daily basis to amend availability etc. Sample of text taken from my CSV file: (opened with Notepad ++) 001MBLK30L,7.00000000000000000000 001MBLK30R,72.00000000000000000000 001MBLK32L,65.00000000000000000000 001MBLK32R,268.00000000000000000000 001MBLK34L,82.00000000000000000000 001MBLK34R,206.00000000000000000000 001MBLK36L,60.00000000000000000000 001MBLK36R,117.00000000000000000000 001MBLK38L,13.00000000000000000000 001MBLK38R,63.00000000000000000000
NemoPS
What are the columns referring to? Reference number and price? If so, make sure you use the comma as fields separator in the importer, then choose products as type, and match the two columns to reference for the first, price for the second. Here is a tut on the importer http://nemops.com/prestashop-import-csv-data-in-1-6/#.VuaHkPkgvmg
kendod27
I'm assuming the 001MBLK30L is product id and options, so this one is product id 001 option black size 30L. This would be for work trousers. I have tried to import but keep getting internal 500 error. I will have a good read through the link you sent to see if i can figure it out. Thanks
