Htaccess 644 - and first, you ought to delete or change htaccess name - Finally, You can try to regenerate. Good works, Mobile Sahin
SahinSOLMAZ
Sorry, In addition, if htaccess is okay, you should clear the all cache.
PrestaHeroes USA
also when we view .htaccess via ftp, at install .htaccess has different file permission like other files, 644, but 664. This means unless we set our FTP to view hidden files, it will not be seen, hence we may not think it exists. Hope that helps.
1Luciano
I have similar issue .htaccess is not redirecting my website ends with www.myname.com/ecommerce and I'm trying to remove the "Ecommerce" from the url. I've tried all the solution described on this topic and nothing works.
eleazar
How about you just open the file with a simple text editor, remove the word "ecommerce" and save?

PrestaHeroes USA
Then I suspect you have permission problems. https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/224525-how-to-turn-on-error-reporting-for-debug-information-blank-page-500-internal-server-error/ after enabling debug mode, then please turn off and back on friendly url's to get PS to generate the .httacceess file. Note any php error or warnings.
1Luciano
El Patron. Good afternoon. Thanks for your response. Can you kindly tell me where the debug mode is located? thanks once again. I forgot to mention to you that the message on my website is this: ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. I will also look at the internal error reporting link you attached. Thanks once again.
