Are Undefined Countries And Unresolved Ip"s Are The Same Thing ?

hi everyone

i got to know that if we enable the built in geolocation module of pretashop then we are unknowingly blocking our real customers who have unresolved ip's as review of maxmind geolitecity.dat free file tells us at best the IP is 85% accurate, this can cause valid visitors from being able to shop.  

 

So i guess i am loosing my 15% of customers which is very bad for my store. 

Also i searched for alternatives but most of them can be used by only server levels and only for private server not for shared. 

So there is only one option to fix the issue , either buy this module

or just disable the module.

but when i went through the module i noticed one option which could solve the problem but somehow its confusing too.

the option is that i can allow the shoppers to shop from undefined countries.

 

 

Now what does undefined countries mean? Is it the countries who doesnt have ips or what ?

or

Are Undefined countries or unresolved ips are the same thing ?

 

I am really confused by the term, so please help me on this because i am desperately  

 looking for the solution.
