tdr170 Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 (edited) When you created the user for database did you set all privileges, basically your username does not have the privileged to write to the database.Go back create a new user when you apply that user to the database a page with grant privileges should appear check all and try to install again. tdr170 Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 Maybe Opencart does not require the same privileges as Prestashop it only takes a minute to change the privileges, without checking this first I am not sure where to go from here. tdr170 Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 OK so as I have been saying its a database privilege issue as you can see in the photo I can not install without have the privilege to create a database. While the error is a little different we also have different host so the privilege issue could be different just because of that. So now go to your control panel go to MySQL Databases, under the Privileged Users click on the user name and a privileges window should appear, check all privileges. Now try the install again.
