Error When Trying To Enable Https On The Website

Recommended Posts

I am trying to add https to the website before getting an ssl certificate. If it is necessary to know, I use aplus.net hosting.

I am not sure why I receive this error when I click on the enable https protocol.

What should I do to make it work? I would prefer not to have to edit the code if I don't need to.

Certificate First then enable SSL, one foot in front of the other.

Ok. I installed an ssl certificate to the website, which is the free general one from aplus.net. However, I don't even get the option to enable ssl because I can't turn on https. The 8b2b98c6609a5b222e4db93f2db5898a.png

Button leads to a connection timed out page. My main issue is trying to enable https in the first place. Then I can worry about ssl.
