2 Step Shipping And Payment

Hi everybody,

 

I want to impliment 2 step shippin & payment on prestashop that means that if the order size and weight is above a limit that i will set so the system should stop the payment proccess and email the customer that we will contact him asap to finish the order and send him a payment link or somthing like that to pay the order.

 

I need that because my products are big and heavy so if the order is big i can become better price from the shipping companys so the costumer saves money, else the shipping cost are very high. So i will make a deal with the shipping company add a custom shipping price and then send the order to the customer to pay.

 

For the orders lower than the weight and size limit should be payed normaly with any payment method.

 

So when the customer is on step 4 on the checkout page if his order weight and size is over the specified amount, by the shipping option should appier the 2 step shipping process with an explanation text and if the customer choose that so the system should skip the payment finish the order but mark it as "on proccess" or something like that its already implimented on prestashop, and then both the user and me will become emails for the 2step schipping. On the end i will enter the shipping cost manualy when i god the best price from the shipping companys and procces the order to payment. Then the customer will become tha final order with the low shipping cost by email so he can procced to payment with any of my payment methods.
