Show Default Currency Via Geolocation

Hi! Can anyone please confirm, if using the Geolocation facilities, it is possible for the shop to default to the Currency/Language of the visitor as soon as the land on the site?

Language 1.5.6+ versions of PrestaShop you will use visitor browser language.

 

for preferences-->geo location-->then

 

back office-->localization-->countries-->edit a county (here the country by default uses default shop currency, but you can change that and if say UK IP detected country then it could use different than default currency, depending on this setting.

 

Note: make sure to test geo location path, IP not resolved to ensure valid visitors are not blocked from shopping...as geolitecity at best 85% accurate, i.e. can resolve the IP.

 

Note: I have great module Geo Targeting Pro that extends native geo location to handle: 1) how  to handle non-resolved IP (muy importante) 2) simulate an IP or a country 3) block ip's 4) and more...so please check it out,  running in 1000+ shops.

Many thanks. Tested and working. Had to remember to remove the cookie for testing purposes.
