How To Select Which Category To Show

Hello All,

 

I need to make a pharmacy store. I want to set categories and subcategories but i also want to make a second list of categories by disease.

 

For example: main categories are: pills, lotions, creams, etc etc

 

Second category list: headache; bellyache; etc.

 

If i make a second list of categories....these will be listed in the category module added to the main list of categories.

 

How can i manage the 2 categories list in a different ways?...for example one showed only in the top menu and a second one showed only in the category module?

 

Please give me a suggestion ASAP.

Maybe it is me, but I don't understand the problem. Under the root you make two categories: diseases and packings. Under diseases you make subcategories like headache and under packings subcategories like pills. Each product you assign to both a packing and a disease category. 

 

You can assign to a menu only some categories with their subcats.

Thanks for support. The problem is that if i syncronize with ebay it will not work since ebay consider tha very first category you assign.

 

I found a kind of solution making a glossary about all diseases. Do you know a nice way or module to make a glossary?

You could use tags of features.
