SSL on Checkut + advanced eu compliance module + Revocation redirect 301 to http

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

i focused an issue on prestashop 1.6.1 while using SSL on checkout only.

So if i call for https://example.de/some content it will be redirected to http.

Why does prestashop not allow calls to content using https if SSL is set for cart only?

HTTPS works only on all pages if explicit set, in the preferences.

But normally http shall be used for non critical data for performance.

The issue I am also facing is if a fancybox link during checkout is clicked, the popup will not open since its a https => http redirect which is insecure.

So n my opinion this is a BUG or am I wrong?

Has someone a explanation why no mixed http/https calls are allowed?

Regards
