I know this is not the first topic about this, but I've been searching the past couple of days for a solution, and I didn't find one. So Ill try to explain it as good as I can. I'm on 1.6.1.2 and running the 'Supermarket'-theme by LeoTheme. In the category edit-menu the 'Category Thumbnail' and 'Menu Thumbnail' don't seem to work. But when I upload a 125px - 125px image through the 'Category Cover'-option it does show up as the cover once you click the category and it does show in the thumbnail, but drastically resized. Like 800px by 160px. Making a square image very small. After a lot of hours trying different things I ended up with the 'ID'_medium_default.jpg' method. It's not only very time consuming, but it didn't work for me either. I decided to empty that folder, '../img/c/' Now all I want is a (sub)category image. Preferably also an cover image, but I don't care sacrificing that for the thumbnail. I know I'm not the only one looking for a solution for this, so as soon as we got it, Ill update this post to help out others! Thanks in advance!
