PS Cloud with multishop and SSL - who can help me out?

MrsBor

Question

Hello everyone,

I have set up a webshop in PS Cloud, added my own domain name, bought an SSL certificate to it, enabled SSL in the shop config, etc.

Everything in regards to the certificate actually seems to work as it should:

I can enter https://www.somedomain.dk and the connection will be SSL encrypted, but when I enter www.somedomain.dk (without https) it doesn't redirect to https.

Someone told me how to fix this by adding these two lines to the htaccess file:

RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off

But that just gave me a ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error instead.

According to PrestaShop's support team this is an error relating to multi shop & SSL in combination, and they asked me to report it to their bug tracker. I did so 2 weeks ago, but the case has just been set to "in progress" and nothing seems to happen.

Can it really be true that no one else has a PS Cloud multi-shop solution with fully functioning SSL?

I will be most grateful if anyone can help me solve the problem.

You have bought one SSL per domain ? You can only use SSL per one domain. Which is the subdomain of your shop ?

BTW I'm unable to connect your store WITH and WITHOUT http(s). It redirects to nowhere.

My intension is to have several shops with the same product library so I have enabled the multistore setting. Currently I only have one shop and one domain name (besides the one assigned by Prestashop). I have bought an SSL certificate for this domain, it is active and it seems to be working with both http and https. I don't which URL you've tried, but please see attached picture for a screen shot of my list of domains and certificates.

Hi MrsBor!

The certificate that you have purchased is for pelsboern.dk and can then have subdomains such as http://www.pelsboern.dk or https://www.pelsboern.dk (S) says that it is a secure connection, but you do not enter http or https. Have you enabled SSL in your Back Office, so it must be working. But you can also enable SSL on all pages!

So the third address dittes.pswebshop.com is not included in your certificate. You must then buy one for this address.

Best regards

MacRoy
