As i'm sure if it did prestashop wouldn't let it appear in the seo links.All though I could be wrong be interesting to see what people say about this. webbusiness23 Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 The ID from the friendly URL is meant to keep the URL's unique. If the ID wouldn't exist inside the URL, there would be the possibility that 2 products with the same name to exist in your shop. This will not be a good thing for your site, because there's a constant "fight" against duplicate URL's from within a site.You can search on google to read more info about the duplicate URL's.
