{Solved} Order confirmation mail is getting broken [Prestashop 1.6.1.1]

Hello,

 

I am using Prestashop 1.6.1.1 and when I am ordering a product the confirmation which is coming to my email address is getting broken like the attachment.

 

Can anyone help me to sort this?

Hi Milky

have you tried to change the template when it did happen ?

 

what you can do is download the version you got from the prestashop server

unzip this one on your computer , look into the files at : mails -> order_conf.html

 

go with ftp to your hosting , to folder mails -> your language -> delete  order_conf.html

now upload the order_conf.html from your computer to your hosting in the same foldr where you deleted this one

 

this should help

Hi this is a strange issue , im not sure but it can be a language problem

look in your theme folder for the folder mails , make a copy of it , and delete it 

does it work now ?

 

BTW cause it is a different problem the best is to start your own topic with it , so other people do see it earlier then in a solved topic

The problem from Milky is solved

a real strange issue ,,

the order_conf.html is ok on the server , but gets damaged when sent trough smtp 

needed to rebuild the html completely to get this thing working on his server ,,

DO you use smtp or php for your mails ?

 

seems on some servers smtp does break the form 

so if you use smtp try php just to test

 

btw the issue from Milky or Tom 52 ? 

they are both 2 different issues , Tom needed to start his own Topic cause it is much different then the topic starter

I solved the Problem temporarly by download the oder_conf.html from this Post and translate it compleatly:

This work since yesterday, now it doesn´t work anymore. I use Multishop. With the default Temlate it works.

 

I use php for my Mails. This is very strange, have no body else this problem?

how dit you translate this ?

via the admin or did you use notepad ++ ?

 

did it work before you did translate ? and crashed after the translation ?

 

the picture is exact the same as the problem from Milky , really strange 

i tested several ways and discovered that some servers with smtp had this problem ,

with php i didn't get this (tested it on 4 different hostings 

 

i add a other template for you what will fix this , its not a great solution but it works

 

 

just test this one to see if it works ok

I translate this using Notepad++. The Template worked until now, before and after the translation. I will test this later an will post the answer.
