Please can somone help, as I am at my wits end.

As mentioned, I reloaded complete site and now have thesame problem.

Hi,.. Yes I have now uploaded both the files and database and have reuploaded to an extension file and imported the database with the same problem.

And yet on my pc all is 100% okay.

This client has someone else looking after the dns server for all their brick and mortar stores, so I am worried if maybe something else needs the be pointed to for the php to work compltetely.

But I can get into the PHP Setting and the FTP no problem. Maybe I need to point something within the PHP settings.

Below is what happened. :)

"I phoned Craig v Rooyen and explained to them why we can’ t use their DNS servers. We are using DynDNS because of dynamic IP addresses at their stores and email.

He said that is fine as long as I point to the our DNS to the necessary IPS’ which I did.

Gerrit"

Any suggestions would be greatly accepted. :(

Thank you, but I am a little confused as to the the exact location. I have checked the database settings and have looked at ps_configuration, and all is correct.

Please, this is only my 5th site and I am stuck.

Where and what should I look for? :)

I didn't think you needed this information, ....

This is exactly what it says, below...

Bad SQL query
Table 'starnew.ps_zone' doesn't exist

and this is exactly what I have on my pc and the same is on the live site....

also "starnew"

As I explained, everything else works 100%.

The only thing I cannot do is complete a order, as it requires a carrier "zone"

I tried creating a new database, which I then imported the data and pointed to this "test" database and the same thing occurred, except it now said "Table 'test.ps_zone' doesn't exist"

So I reverted to the original.

Hi, No, I am sorry, I just got busy with other things. I am really having a hard time trying to understand the way to change these settings.

So I need time without other things going on. I really appreciate all your help and I am sure that I'll get to the bottom of this. The part that confuses me is the way the DNS server is used in this instance and the way it is pointed due to the use within many stores. I think this may also be part of my problem. I will keep you up to date once I get busy again. Thanks again.
