bjarkepetersen
As the topic tag says. I want to integrate a script, and as the installation instruction says, I should do this before the </body> tag. It's a newsletter sign up form that I want to be showen to visitors on the mainpage. Thank you in advance - Bjarke
yaniv14
You can find the closing body tag in 'footer.tpl' inside your theme folder. 1
bjarkepetersen
Thank you Yaniv14. I found out that the solution is not only to add the script just before the </body> tag in the footer.tpl it altso needs a {literal} before and {/literal} after the script. Then it works. Surffari
Hi! Yes, I learned the hard way that I had to put that stuff inside the literal-tags. I have an issue where I put the script right at the end of the footer.tpl (of the child theme used). However, the theme seems to add some scripts etc. stuff after the footer.tpl and before the </body> tag and (I guess) draw on top of the chat-widget I want to display. Any ideas which file to look at next to get the snippet right before the body end?

Surffari
Actually my issue is that it dowsn't seem top be there. I've checked al 3 footer.tpl (classic, custom theme and the child theme of the custom I'm using). None has the </body> I have understood the child theme's footer.tpl will override the others anyways. I have placed the code right at the end of the footer.tpl and there's still stuff between that nd the </body>, so something is included (=hooked?) after the footer.tpl. Found out the file is themes/ChildTheme/templates/layouts/layout-both-columns.tpl and it had end tags for both html and body.
