Step 5 checkout error - payment page not showing

Hi all,

Getting a strange error.

 

I have setup a number of payment methods and shipping methods by country etc all working fine.

 

I'm using 1.61.1  and have added a couple of items to my shopping cart. (in maintenance mode)

 

I'm using the 5 step checkout experience.  

Steps 1-4 work OK however when i click on the proceed to checkout button at step 4  to move to step 5 PAYMENT.

 

I get a blank screen with  error  message   "Can't open file" 

 

any ideas?

edit the config/defines.inc.php and set the debug mode to true and check the error again

It happens exactly the same to me. I am running 6.1.2.  Any idea??

take the shop out of  maint mode...I've seen some community members who discovered testing in maint mode created issues.

 

Then re-test. 

 

Note: you can modify robots.txt to turn tell bots not to index shop (search outside of prestashop on how to do this).  

 

Hope that helps...also please follow shakers advice, turn on debug mode, but make sure to turn off when done.

We found a error message on debug mode:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mcrypt_encrypt() in /var/www/vhosts/myshop.com/store/presta/modules/banc_sabadell/php/apiRedsys.php on line 54
 

Credit card payment module was creating the problem. The function Mcrypt was not installed on our server. We installed it and now it works ok.
