How to import HTML code via csv into Description

Hi, Im trying to import some HTML code via CSV into the prestashop description field. Some of the format I intend to import includes a table as well as other formatting.  After several failed attempts how can I get this to work .

Hi guys,

 

you need to make sure there are no breaks in the CSV format by the HTML code

 

for example

 

<h1 style="color: red;"> contains a semi-colon which can break the CSV format.

 

You can use a pipeline rather than a semi-colon as your field seperator in the CSV file, this worked for me.

 

You may also need to remove any line breaks \n.

Just fixed it, it was the " that was causing the problem, removed them and imported perfectly fine, classes in the html and everything. Great!
