"Tax included" displays for 0% tax

Recommended Posts

I also have a problem with the taxes.

I made 2 taxes :
21%
0%

the 21% is linked to the zone europe
0% to countries out of europe because they need not to pay taxes.

Now when a custumor of the non europe commands the moment he login he/she see the prices tax excluded, that's nice.
but in the shopping basket and emails he always see the : tax included, even if the price is without tax?
any idea how to solve this?

also when the guy that does not have to pay taxes, looks into the productdetail
then he see the price tax excluded but it's still marked with the text :
tax included (see screenshot) (look at the text : inclusief btw = tax included)

thx

Rylersbud,

that I knew :-)
but I have this in the translation :
tax incl: = inclusief btw
tax excl: = exclusief btw

the problem is that I made a zone non europe and marked it to show prices excl tva.
the moment a non europe customer register (the system know he's a non europe) and show the prices tva excluded....that's good
but it's still marked : inclsuief btw after the price, but the price is allready tax exclude but the text is still tax included...

better with this explanation :-)
so could it be a bug? that the price is shown well, but not the text after the price?

I think the problem might be that you created a "0%" tax and assigned it instead of choosing the "No tax" option. I don't think Prestashop check whether the tax is "0%", it just knows that a tax has been assigned, so it displays "tax included". Try changing all the "0%" taxes to "No tax".
