rjamjam Posted August 29, 2015 Share Posted August 29, 2015 Hello I am trying to update my self created/exported theme with a new version. The steps are following: -Exporting my theme with Preferences->Themes->Export theme to a folder. -Zipping the folder to myTheme.zip -Importing theme bei using Preferences->Themes->Add new theme. The first time that worked well, but I wanted to fix a issue and reinstalled the theme with an higher version number. I am getting the Error "Theme myTheme already installed". catalin.scaesteanu Posted August 29, 2015 Share Posted August 29, 2015 When you are importing a new theme Prestashop extracts the .zip file and creates "your_theme" folder in /root/themes/. Switch to the default theme, delete "your_theme" folder from /root/themes/ and import the new version of theme. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
