NEWBIE - Maintenance Mode Issues

Hello!

 

I started to use Prestashop very recently and I have been working on Maintenance mode for the last few days. Today, I noticed that it is not working properly. Even if it says in Backoffice the store is on maintenance, the website's homepage is available to everyone in both languages. But if I try to click on contact us or on any other links for example, it does show the website is on maintenance in most cases.

 

I have searched for a solution in the forum and I even tried to do what was suggested in this thread https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/300496-maintenance-ip-problems/ but it didn't work for me Maybe because I am using Prestashop 1.6.1 version, not sure.

 

I wonder if my issue has anything to do with the fact I have a dynamic ip, but after some tests on others pc's and connections, it still happens I have cleared cache aswell.

 

Anyone else had this issue before and could give me some lights please?
