Problem after change of domain name

Recommended Posts

Hello

Few days ago I installed prestashop there : http://3couleurs.eu/lawendashopping/index.php?id_lang=2, since I bought another domain name and redirected it to that same folder I installed it : http://www.atable.pl/

As you can see, there is a big difference. Like few things are not loading.

And impossible to login into my back office form the new domain name. Which is possible with the last one.

Is there anything I have to change?

I just bought this domain name today, do I have to wait a bit longer that my websupplier put everything in place (I don't remember having such a trouble before)

Thanks a lot.

Sorry, I 'm still trying to see where the problem is. And I will try to be clear ;-)

Now, this is the right address : http://www.atable.pl/

This address goes directly to the prestashop folder. As you can see, no css are loaded.

This address show you that prestashop is working (it goes to the root folder and then to the prestashop folder):

http://3couleurs.eu/lawendashopping/

I can redirect atable.pl to any folder of my website, and there is only a problem with prestashop.

If I redirect it staright to the prestashop folder, I have the problem, if I redirect it to the root folder and go to the prestashop folder with the browser, there is no problem.

I tried to do that with all domain names I have, and the same result with the same method.

I can't access directly to prestashop without this problem.

I always need to go to the root folder, and then to the prestashoop folder.

I asked my domain provider, and no answer yet.

Still unclear

So your prestashop installation is situated on the 3couleurs site?
And you try to redirect it from atable.pl -> 3couleurs?

So basically this will mess up the CSS (if you go to atable.pl).
Thats because the CSS and PS uses relative URL paths.
If you want to get this working you need to change all relative paths to full paths,
or do some magic with the .htaccess..

All in all a lot of work

Sorry, English is not my native language, I got some problem to explain simple things sometimes ;-)

Yes, prestashop is installed in the 3couleurs website. I have 2 others domain name : lawendadesing.com et atable.pl

Anyway, that would be lots of work for me to change all links :)

Thanks :)
