Top menu update - DO NOT INSTALL

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately another typical case for prestashop module updates   Don't know what was to be fixed as changelog.txt last entry is from 2014. Besides Top Menu module's been working just fine, and after the update categories list disappeared from top menu. Tried clearing  and reinstalling the module. Didn't help. Had to go back to previous version.

BTW. Still don't know how to disable modules' update checking. Turned it off in Administration->Preferences, cleared cache, but it doesn't work at all. Shop still checks for module updates and show notifications about it on Modules page. Anyone has a fix for that?

Same here, after update the root category entry on the menu disappeared, even if I try adding it again it doesn't show on frontend.

Hi guys,

I am also experiencing troubles with Top horizontal menu (blocktopmenu) after modules&shop update to latest version.

When customer is not signed, Top horizontal menu is shown correctly:

When customer is signed in, Top horizontal menu is only showing Home button:

Any fixes?

Edit: Created ticket on forge.prestashop.com PNM-3519 Top horizontal menu (blocktopmenu) not showing categories to signed in customers after latest update

Regards

sadly, we have to wait for new update with no errors

Hi Milos,

Thanks for your reply. I already did a full restore to a previous-update state but I am sure someone will need that previous version :)

Regards
