paypal integration broken

Recommended Posts

Hello

from today, without any update/reconfiguration or other maintenance operation, the payment system trough paypal is not working anymore. Checked with paypal, reinstalled the module...nothing change.

The check out process end with this error message:

Error occurred: Please try to contact the merchant: PayPal response: TIMESTAMP -> 2015-07-02T11:08:33Z L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10002 L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Security error L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Security header is not valid L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

Any idea?

Thank you in advance

Hi

Have you tried to remove the paypal module at all and tried to reinstall it.

Also do not use the express check out as there is an issue with it when you install it blocks some payment module, I know it does not work with bank transfer, payplug or klikandpay.

I had the express check out and removed it several months ago.

Have you checked that you have authorised paypal for the country you want to sell, you must have paypal ticked in the payment list in the countries otherwise it won't work neither.

Mainly this error is saying that something wrong with your paypal account configuration.

- You should have a certified paypal account to use paypal.

- You should revise the credentials you added to the configuration of your module. Use copy and paste and add the correct credentials. Pay attention to don't copy also blank characters before or after.

- And at least: as milleetunesoies told: disable the paypal express option. This is not working for several countries, but it is a paypal problem and not a Prestashop one. I'm having also issues with paypal express and wordPress payment...

many thanks to everybody.

At the moment, thanks also to paypal technicalsupport, the paypal module is working again, I'll keep on eye on express checkout, but can't understand why/who/when the previously working setup of the module has been modified....

Kind regards
