luxor123
Hi, My site was running fine for a while now and it suddenly became really slow, TtFB can go to 15 secs sometimes. Now I don't know what is causing that and what is the issue, since I didn't do anything to my site except put new products in. I tried deleting unused modules, compressing everything with Optimize Website option in CPanel. Any help would be appreciated. The site is: www.decjibazar.rs if you want to check it out yourself. Naldinho
Are you on shared hosting? The issue could be unrelated to your site. Test the site speed at offpeak hours or test the speed of other sites on the same shared hosting.
tuk66
There are 31 domains on your server. Not too much. Every page, except CMS pages, is really slow. I suggest to move to another hosting.
luxor123
Yeah, I'm gonna have to think about moving to another hosting. This is pretty much unacceptable
JPresta.com
Enable profiling in /config/define.inc.php to see if there is a module dthat is slowing down your shop. If you don't understand stats displayed on your store just post it here.

JPresta.com
Ok, this is home page I guess, can you show us stats for a product page? For home page the slower part is in displayHome but it's not that slow 2,2 seconds (it's quite normal for Prestashop). What modules do you have in this hook? luxor123
All right so these are the modules in displayHome and these are the stats for a product page
JPresta.com
Product page is fast (I mean it's normal duratino for Prestashop). I don't see anything "wrong" here.
luxor123
Yeah, product pages load pretty fast, but the homepage can sometime take 15+ seconds to load...
Krystian Podemski
Is this second module is for displaying promotions? Try to disable it, this is one of the slowest mechanisms in PrestaShop. The best way to debug this is to disable modules one by one, try to disable this module for specials, if this won't help try to disable leo widget etc. In 1.6.1 you can check modules from every method but unfortunately it's not available in 1.6.0.14 and older
luxor123
Yeah, it is the promotions module. I tried disabling all of them and everything was exactly the same, like I did nothing.

Guest
Your images are very large file size. You could try optimising them. for example your logo is over 400 kb.
