extra menus for text-blogs and contactform

I'm a new bee in Prestashop . I wonder who can help me with this "small problem,

Is it possible to create a menu item to add web pages with blogs-text (no products), such as a page with <about-me> menu a.s.o. and f.i. a menu <contact form?> where visitors can ask questions, without any relation to the products?

 

 

2nd question: In the joined theme example ,  The horizontal menu has categories placed horizontally (such as Ladies, dresses etc..), Is it possible to place those categories vertically in a left sidebar?
