NAVIGATION BAR , CHANGE A SPECIFIC COLOUR OF A NAVIGATION BAR BUTTON

HI , AM TRYING TO EDIT A FEW THINGS ON MY WEBSITE & AM A LITTLE STUCK AT THE MOMENT . IS IT POSSIBLE IF SOMEONE CAN HELP . 

 

I HAVE A NAVIATION BAR ON MY WEBSITE , WHICH CONTAINS A BUTTON CALLED "MEGA SALE" , MY MAIN AIM IS TO HIGHLIGHT THE BUTTON RED SO IT STANDS OUT FROM THE REST OF THE BUTTONS .  HOW CAN I GO AHEAD AND ACHIVE THIS ? YOUR HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED !

Hello

 

You could add this code to the bottom of global.css

 

#header .sf-menu > li:nth-child(8) {background-color: #c20000!important;}

The (8) is the eighth menu item - their is a better way of approaching this where you can always keep the last menu item as a different colour but I caan't remember it at the moment.

Hello again,

 

Just remembered, you can use this code to always keep the last tab in your nav bar a certain colour:

 

.sf-menu > li:last-child {background-color: #c20000!important;}

HI ,  Thanks for your help , ive implemented this & managed to get the red background working . the only issue is that the text is grey & it does not stand out with the red back ground . is there a way i can make it white ?
