Still looking for free themes??

Recommended Posts

I am still looking for some more free themes.

Any idea where they all are or who has got them.

I have looked at dgcraft..it's ok, but not what I am after.

Does anyone else have some elegant , bright and business looking themes?

I've moved over more free themes from the Integration forum to the Theme forum. Look for the topics starting with [THEME]. I'm not sure what else I can do. You can't expect to get a theme that is exactly what you want for free. You may be better off hiring a programmer to create a Prestashop theme for you.

This is incredible, 233 people have viewed and only 1 response!

Are you all looking for free themes as well?

Surely, there must be more out there that Prestashop should provide with their cart than just the 1. Most other carts come with atleast 10 or more..!

Has anyone else got some free or useful themes..will appreciate your response.

Just had a security and safety question reagring these free theme on the back of mind.

Are these free themes safe and secure and don't have any security concerns.

I am just thinking, is it possible to have some code stuck some where that is either spying or collecting information and sending back to these coders?

I am not familiar with scripts and don't have the knowledge to bug or review these codes but, I am just asking a hypothetical question from a security point of view when it comes to free stuff.

Yes, and the same goes for modules, free and paid, which is why you should always be careful where you get modules and themes, if it's a new place / person offering them, you may want to look at the code to make sure nothing out of the ordinary is going on.

And what gives you security safety warranty with paid themes and modules? Seller - no. When You are not able to test Your security in Your shop - then I am recommending to hire specialist.

Usually for paid modules and themes, there's a company behind it, or even an individual, that is trying to build a business and a reputation.

Most likely they will not go to all the trouble and risk spreading malicious code.

But, the only way to be sure is to inspect the code yourself, or have someone who knows code better to take a look.
