Feedback on my gadget repair shop

Hello Guys,

I have got to a point where I think my site is set up well and has an ok feel to it. I am somewhat a novice with this. I keep making tweaks here and there but think that sometimes you need to stop, look, and listen to other peoples suggestions. 

Any feedback - good or bad (bad is most helpful).

Things I want to improve 

• Site Speed
• Reduce amount of products showing on home page (I can remember increasing it but can't remember how I did it in order to reduce it)
• More pictures of the products (real life pictures instead of home made icons)
• Constant updated to blog

Well, you are using the default theme with some minor changes, I think if it was me I would make a few little changes:

 

1. You do not have a Favicon

 

2. Your horizontal menu looks a little empty, perhaps you ould change the padding

3. I think I would change "Cart" to "Basket" as you are in the UK

4. You seem to be using the same image in a lot of services you supply, I assume customers know why they are on your site

5. Just for symmetry I would change the height of your "Follow us on Facebook" module

Exactly the kind of thing I wanted to hear. I guess the padding of the top menu is changed in the files somewhere as there doesn't seem to be the option in the module interface in the BO?
