say42
I have been asked to help with the translation of a French Prestashop site which currently has 300 products on it, a lot with very similar descriptions so there will be a certain amount of copying and pasting. I would welcome suggestions as the best way to approach the project.A few questions If the English module is installed, can it be hidden from the public until we are ready to go live ? If it is, I imagine I could add the English names/descriptions directly into the Prestashop database. If it isn't then how easy is it to import a CSV file with the English text without erasing the existing French text ? Is this a standard operation ? I have seen a few posts where there has been talk of writing scripts. Thanks in advance Steve Edited June 3, 2015 by say42 (see edit history)
say42
Found my own answer. Disable English in Localisation section and add English directly to articles and static pages
