oliviadlb Posted May 15, 2015 Share Posted May 15, 2015 (edited) Hello, i'vebeen trying since 2days now to upload Prestashop on my server for my website without success... i download it few different times, i used filezilla, classicftp and even dreamweaver but nothing works... I always have "error files" "failed upload" and just no upload at all.... I'm with OVH and i contacted them too to be sure everything was fine on my server... :/ anybody has the same problem??? jetx Posted May 15, 2015 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Why not just upload it in zip format? From cp file manager, upload, expand. Then just check the file and directory permissions are correct. If not then the umask is not set correctly. So in that event you can either edit the umask and re-expand that zip file or you can fix the file and dir permissions via SSH pretty quickly. But I'd assume when you expand a zip the permissions are correct, but you just need to check that. btw I never upload multiple files unless in some form of zip.
