"Too many connections" error

burning-games

Question

[sOLVED: it's a Prestashop issue that is being currently taken care of. Read more here https://www.prestash...y/#entry2043113]

Hello everybody,

I am a user of Cloud Prestashop, and we have been very happy with its performance until the following error is appearing when trying to access both backend and fronted.

Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[08004] [1040] Too many connections

Our site is not very popular and its not very likely that there was a big upsurge of interest suddenly, so what can that be about?

As it is Cloud Prestashop, I believe I cannot access the database etc. and even if I could I am not knowledgable with coding.

What do you think I could do? Will the site come back to life on itself? How can I save the orders if not?

This is the URL to the site: http://burningstore.pswebshop.com

Thanks in advance!

Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1040] Too many connections. I am getting this error plus my site has been running extremly slow. If this is a "Cloud" problem how do we not partisapate in it?

i have same problem too before.

Besides your site is not a Prestashop, are you sure, you are talking about Prestashop Cloud hosting problem ? I think or the site you linked in signature is not the correct one, or you are not on Prestashop Cloud, cause there are no incidents reported, for about the last weeks: http://status.prestashop.com/
