Hey

Thanks for this module.

I installed it but I am having problem to figure out what my crazy egg tracking code is.

I tried it with the API Key and Secret and also with a script that they call code and starts like this: <script type="text/javascript">

setTimeout(function(){var a=document.createElement("script");

So where can I find the "crazy egg tracking code" ?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,

Philipp

The code is the string of numbers in that script. Look at the js url, it should have something like /231/12321  that is what you need to enter.

Thanks for your prompt answer.

It's strange...now that I entered the code with and without /

I get the following message on my control panel  from crazyegg:

  • There was an error checking http://shop.bookbinderdesign.ch. Either the page responded with an error or did not respond at all. Please check on the status of your website, and re-run the check. If you are still having problems, contact support.

Before entering the number, I got a clear message that the code wasn't installed.

Alright....the first times I tried there was probably an issue on the side of crazyeggs...now I get again this answer.

Same with / and without /. Does it need the / ?

  • Server responded Yes.
  • Script code on page? No, the script code could not be detected. See the the instructions.

It does not need the / for the module to work. Putting the / in there will break it.

Hi

Okey. I tried it both ways since neither way worked. Right now of course I left it without /. But it still doesn't work.

Any chance to help me out on this?

Hello everyone,

Finally, what is  the solution for that please?

Tried without "/" but afraid to use with "/" as above someone said it will "break it".

Thanks a lot in advance,

Je.

ps: I use Prestashop 1.6.1.3
