BUG: no product in checkout (upgate 1.4 - 1.6.0.9)

Hello.

 

I made actualization form 1.4 to 1.6.0.9 and at the bigginig everithing looked OK.

 

But I found very serious problem. It is not regular problem, just time to time, but I am losing clients because of it.

 

Some time (approximately 25% of customer) when they want to add product to cart and procceed the order, there is an error.

 

 

When you click on add to cart, the pop up window appears and show the product, you want to order.

Then you click to Proceed to checkout and in product summary there it just statement, that Your shopping cart is empty.

You try to repeat it 2-times, 3-times, 4-times and same result. Then you do it for example 5-times and everything is OK.

 

Strange is that this does not happen to everybody and also I have same problem and but just when I visit the site for first time. Then it goes OK. Then I try different browser (Chrome) and same problem.

 

When I turn on bugs, no error was found.

 

Second strange thing is, that only 1 to 5 attempts are wrong and then it work OK.

 

 

You can try it on www.capacky.sk to see the problem, maybe.   

 

Do anybody, please, have any idea what to do to solve this problem? 

 

Or do anybody know at least which files or which table take care about this issue?

First, carefully diagnose the problem via browser console. I have no problem so it must be a rarely problem.

What you mean by "via browser console"?

 

If you mean the command line, there is everything OK. I just know that, than I clear browser history it goes wrong and I have to add product do the cart 3-5 times to have it in checkout. One I have product in checkout, everything goes OK. I can add any product I want to.  Then clear the history and again same error.  

 

Can you advice me files or DB table, which could be wrong or damaged? My friend know PHP a little bit, he just do not know the Prestashop.

Browser console - F12 in Firefox or Chrome.

This is answer of my friend:

- you can not see anything wrong on browser console, you see just Empty shopping cart (summary). You see just exported HTML in F12 console, and the problem is a stript, which you can not see.

When you click on add to cart, you have you product in cart, you can browse the web and when you decide to checkout and click on button checkout, the summary cart is empty. You do it 4 times and same. You do it 5th-times and it is OK.

 

So problem is script, which sent product to checkout. Can you advice us, which file scour take car about it, or where to look in database to see if there is something wrong ?
