sbt
The speed of PS1.6.0.13 on local server is fine, both back office and front office. After migrating it to live server, the speed of product editing becomes extremely slow. I saw many others having problem in save and stay and save button, while I don't. My problem is after clicking "save and stay" or "save" it takes several minutes to get "successful update". There is not such problem in local server and all the settings are the same. Totally lost what causes the problem. Any ideas will be appreciated! Kent

selectshop.at
Upgrade will not help. It is a server problem. You should contact your provider. The problem is the firewall on the server blocking services Prestashop needs on back-office. Your provider should reconfigure the firewall or disable it. Wuisma
Hello, try to select "Never clear cache files" on the clear cache option in Advanced Parameters->Performance (you will have to clear the cache manually to see the changes in the back office). I think the problem is that every time you modify something prestashop is clearing the cache... Regards

Regards Clear cache has only a second role for back-office and indeed nothing to do with slow back-office. But you can try....
