SERIOUSLY SLOW Server Response Time, OUT OF IDEAS!

Hi everyone,

 

I am on 1.6.0.9 which I am thinking now was a mistake! Should have stuck to 1.5.x. I applied the "Performance Hot Fix" to PrestashopAutoLoad.php as well with no good results.

 

I have duplicated our site on a separate server, deleted ALL MODULES including Prestashop official modules (none are installed at all), disabled all overrides, checked for any updated files and reverted the changes, tried every performance setting possible.

 

There is literally almost nothing left on the front page and it still takes between 1.6-5s to load, though normally around ~2s. This is due to the slow response time.

 

I am OUT of ideas.

 

We are still getting 1-3s WAITING TIME for server response.

It is your host. See other sites on your server (http://www.tcpiputils.com/domain-neighbors). Other shops are also slow. I would think about slow database.

Seems you are right many other shops are loading slow on the same host.

 

What do you mean about slow database? Is there anything I can look into?

 

I didn't realize some of these shared hosts were so bad!

Slow database is a host problem. You can do nothing.
