paypalusa failed after install

Upgraded Prestashop to  1.6.0.14 , upgraded modules. Then when I tried installing PaypalUSA

I got this error:

 

[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module file :/home/quiltbat/public_html/modules/paypalusa/paypalusa.php:
require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/quiltbat/public_html/modules/paypalusa/backward_compatibility/backward.php' (include_path='/home/quiltbat/public_html/tools/htmlpurifier/standalone:/usr/local/php4/lib/php:.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php')

 

Also doesn't allow access to the modules area, get the same error.

Deleting the module through FTP removes the error.

 

I checked the folder backward_compatibility, that folder is empty. 

 

I don't see a way to fix this, what should I do.

same problem, tried this and it worked. 

the moduals page shows up now, but not seein paypal in there yet. might need to upload more files.  

pretty bad mod, hasn't been updated forever
