Hi

Sorry i'm very new to prestashop. I have a question - when i search in google a product from my website it shows the product  in the search but when i click on it it goes into a page on my website saying page not available.

The link is valid and i did not make any changes to it. It happens to all the products in the store.

ex:http://britishgallery.ro/ro/rochester-ginger/11599-bautura-ghimbir-rochester.html

Many thanks

Hi,

I'm not a SEO specialist but having a look a your site, I noticed the link to the product you mentionned is actually http://britishgallery.ro/ro/rochester-ginger/-11599--bautura-ghimbir-rochester.html. So, there is a discrepancy between its format and the one from Google.

Did you recently make some changes in Preferences > SEO & URLs > Schema of URLs or install a module that could have made such changes?

Well, this is just a starting point for investigation. About the solution I don't know...

Maybe you should go back to the default configuration in Preferences > SEO & URLs > Schema of URLs, as it seems Google currently references your pages with the default schema (it tried some others). But again this is beyond my competence :-(

Regards

in the other topic I'm discussing the bad url solution from presta,

your url structure for rochester ginger looks so

http://britishgallery.ro/ro/180-rochester-ginger

after clicking to an articel it changes to

http://britishgallery.ro/ro/rochester-ginger/-11599--bautura-ghimbir-rochester.html (your new url you added --)
http://britishgallery.ro/ro/rochester-ginger/11599-bautura-ghimbir-rochester.html (this is google indexed url)

but both urls are bad, perfect url would look like

http://www.britishgallery.ro/rochester-ginger/bautura-rochester-ginger-725ml.html
