CSV import stops after first step

Hi,

 

I've been making a lot of CSV imports yesterday and even this morning, but now it's not working anymore. I use version 1.6.0.13.

 

So, when I'm going to CSV import, I can chose the source file and set the import parameters, but after I click on the "next step" button nothing happens. The browser is showing me that it's loading somerhing, but nothing comes up and after a few minutes a get a blank page.

 

I deleted the "cache" and "compile" folders from "smarty" folder, it doesn't have any effect, the issue is till there.

I also deleted the navigation history from the browser and still nothing.

I tried with Crome and Internet Explorer, the result is similar.

 

 

What else should I do?

Strangely, after changing the field separator from ";" to "," I didn't get the same result, but I had to change the CSV file to be with "," field separator.

After that, it worked very well.
