[SOLVED] Back Office pagination problem in PrestaShop 1.2.5

Guess i'll start a new thread since this is a bug that hasn't been addressed in PrestaShop 1.2.5

In the backoffice, pagination, sorting and searching does not work on the category tab. If i try to use any of the features it kicks me back to the Home category

I have also tried using the newest prestashop release's (1.3?) AdminCatalog.php page but this does not fix the issue in 1.2.5
