Emails not sending

So i had the email thing, including the contact-form, working with the svn , but since i learned only to use finals on live server i went back.. now emails dont work nor contact-form.

i found out that you can only upgrade from final version to final version.

if update to the 1.3 alpha thats out now, can i 'upgrade' to the 1.3 final easialy?

should i set up a test server and find out which svn fix makes my email work?

i have done what i think are pretty indept custamizations to my prestashop so i know a bit-o-code. where would i start troubleshooting why it dosent work?


p.s. when the contact form email from address is entered as [email protected].. it says...


There is 1 error :

1. an error occurred while sending message


When i put [email protected].. it says

Your message has been successfully sent to our team.

but it dosent send..

Looks as if I am having the same problem with the contact-form.

make sure that under prerences and email that emails from store are @yourdomain.com.. so that shop is sending them from an allowed email
