How to show product reference/number in categories view (v1.6)

Hello everyone. I'm pretty new to PrestaShop but seem to have everything working OK so far.

 

What I would like to do is have the "product reference" (in my case I have renamed to say "part number") to show under each item when view in the category view.

 

I'm not very confident about hacking up the code myself so is there some kind of plugin module available for this? I don't mind paying if needed as long as its a reasonable price.

 

I have made a mock up screenshot to explain better what I am trying to achieve.

This is what I would like to show. Something like this with the product reference / part number showing (highlighted in the red box).

Hi, you can try it by using {$product.reference} where you want in the product-list template
