sheenammittal
Hi, I know this post is already there but its for the previous versions of prestashop. For this current version 6.1 I tried to import images from my local but its giving error . I tried giving the complete path from root and also tried ../ but nothing worked for me. Did anyone face the same issue? Any help is really appreciated. Thanks
NemoPS
Can you give us an example of the csv and image paths?
sheenammittal
Hi, Thanks for replying but I figured out the mistake and it was very trivial. I used localhost:8000 instead of localhost in the url for images. For reference , the url of the form http://localhost/imagefolder/blahblah.jpg without any quotation marks worked nothing else like ../imageforder/blahblah.jpg did not. sheenammittal
Hi, I am sorry for the late reply, I was not allowed to reply to more than 2 posts here I dont know why. So i just followed the manual. In the product import for the column name images I used the URL as I have mentioned in the previous post. I also saved these images on my machine manually in a folder called image_used(I created this folder inside the httpdocs folder of prestashop on my local machine) I hope this helps.
