amnonM
Hi, hoping someone can help, I'm obviously doing something wrong I have a store which works wonderfully: www.speedcubes.co.za I now want to create a new shop, www.crystalpuzzles.co.za This is what I've done: in the prestashop admin for www.speedcubes.co.za, I've enabled multishop and created the www.crystalpuzzles.co.za shop, including the URL bit in the www.crystalpuzzles.co.za cpanel, I've "redirected" to www.speedcubes.co.za in the www.speedcubes.co.za cpanel, I've parked www.crystalpuzzles.co.za But when I go to www.crystalpuzzles.co.za, it just redirects to www.speedcubes.co.za. No sign of www.crystalpuzzles.co.za anywhere, particularly in the URL box. It's just done a redirect, without prestashop picking up that it www.crystalpuzzles.co.za traffic I know I've done something wrong, just don't know what. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks
amnonM
HI everyone, I'm willing to pay someone to fix this for me (though I would have hoped this forum would help me a little more). Any takers? Amnon
PrestaHeroes USA
you said " I've "redirected" to www.speedcubes.co.za" for cpanel you would 'park' the 2nd domain to the first domain. When you redirect PS will never see the 2nd domain name to match to multishop.
amnonM
Thanks In the end I contacted my hosting service and it took them 1 second to park the second domain on the first. Now both domains are administered in one cpanel environment. That was the key to solving the problem. I thought that the two cpanel environments had to talk to each other, which caused all the problems. Hope this helps any others with similar problems.
