Manufacturer Product Pictures

Recommended Posts

Good Evening,

I have downloaded Manufacturer Pictures that when uploaded into my website are not showing up? I am trying to figure out what may be the problem. My prestashop theme currently allows a maximum of 8 MB for the image files. Many of the image files I want to use are jpg, gif or  png and are between 7- 400 KB. I was thinking that someone must have run across this problem before and how to solve it.

Thanks

es

Hi Naldinho,

It appears that no manufacturer product pictures in my Pictures File on my computer are able to upload to my Prestashop 1.6 ecommerce theme where the product picture should go. I also cannot upload any personal pictures or pictures of myself. However, if I get a sample manufacturer product picture from the internet to test, it seems to upload and show up just fine.

The only place where I have been successful at uploading the manufacturer product picture into the website is where my logo picture should be. I actually uploaded the pictures where the logo belongs just as a test and I am able to see the pictures there. So only when I upload the pictures as a logo do they show up on my website.

Thank you for taking out the time in your schedule to help me.

You can add pictures if they come from the internet but you can't add pictures if they come from your personal computer -- by any chance do you have a ridiculously slow upstream from your ISP?

Trying to diagnose this remotely isn't something I am up for but I will give you an easy workaround -- take you pictures and upload them to either your own server of if you don't know how to do that then to something like your Google+ photos or even imgur. Then add them from there to PrestaShop. This should work but obviously test with one image before spending all the time uploading them all.
