Split Payment/Multiple Payment Methods

Would anyone know if there is currently a way of adding functionality to allow multiple forms of payment for a single order, which is commonly referred to as Split Payment?  This is basic functionality in many E-commerce platforms, but I can't seem to find a way to do this in Prestashop, which is baffling to me.  

 

I will give you an example of a scenario.  Let's say someone currently has a gift card(yet another add on!?) value of $100 and would like to redeem this and pay the balance of the order using PayPal.  I can't currently find a way to make this work.  

Any ideas would be appreciated or any insight as to a planned incorporation into Prestashop's core functionality.

Hi, if you have an U.S account based managed in $, you can do it with Braintree, otherwhise, activating paypal adaptative payments, with Agile parallel payment module may be able to solve it
