migrate to new site

can any one tell me how to migrate my prestashop to a new web site

i have many product and a lot of change in my old site.
now the web site is closed for reparation he will open in 21 fev 2010 , so i already bucked up my DB

but i don't know how to put my product and every thing to my new site

download a copy of your DB to your computer. Create PS new site. Upload DB. That should do it.

if I import 1st DB the new installation wouldn't pass in step3 , it said :

A Prestashop database already exists, please delete it or change the prefix.

if I change the prefix from ps_ to some thing else I have my PS withe default products and no my products also everything changed.

if I install PS 1st and than I want to import my DB it said :

 `id_tab` int(10) unsigned NOT NULL,

 `add` int(11) NOT NULL,

) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8;

if I change the prefix in back page to the ps_ , I will not be able to go to admin area it sai :

There is 1 error

  1. employee does not exist, or bad password

Can you Plz help me with any idea, or any one in this forum can help me ?

Empty your database (drop tables) before you upload the zip again.
