Create a new select on product-sort.tpl

Hello,

 

I wanna know how to create a new select field, on the page when I choose to sort by name, A-Z ...

 

It will be "brand", and when I click it and opens, will display all the brands. When I choose one of the brands, will appear all the products of this category and this brand.

assign manufacturers to smarty (from the category controller). put your select in your tpl, loop thru manufacturer. But selecting a manufacturer won't do nothing unless you modify the getproducts method of the category class.
