Alex Nitu
So after I made the CSV file for the parent-child categories, I noticed that only the categories which were set "0" in the field "Root category" got imported. All other child-categories got sent in "empty categories" (as it shows in back-office panel), and have no links to the categories I want them to. I checked all my steps and everything is in order. Any thoughts? Anybody else got this problem?

Alex Nitu
In the end I just typed in all the categories, one by one. It took more than just creating a CSV file, but if that's how Prestashop wants it, then that's how I did it. There may be modules for that, but even for a category tree like mine, with almost 500 entries, it's not worth buying it just so you save 1 hour or so. What would be nice, is to be able to export the whole tree, and not just what you see inside the category tab.
