alansik
Hi all, I am newbie in prestashop. Need help from you guy I have problem when customer place order. What I want to do is, when customer want to buy product, customer will click on buy button. Then I want notification send to me said that customer want to buy that product. I check the product first whether have stock or not. I approve customer request. Then customer can proceed for payment. Is it can be done in prestashop or I must install some module? bellini13
I don't believe Prestashop has this type of feature built in. I believe you could have a payment module created (or locate an existing one), that would allow the customer to 'purchase' the product for free. The module would create an order using a 'confirming stock' order status. You could then confirm stock and decide what to do next My first question would be, how do you intend to collect payment from the customer? alansik
Basically, I want to collect payment from customer via payment gateway module. If prestashop did not have this type of payment method, I think I must stick to existing one. No need to change. Thanks for your reply.
Cablando
Hello, I was searching for "confirm order" and found this thread. I'm looking for the exact same thing, I would like to check stocks before asking to pay. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything in modules that could work. Not all my distributors provide CSVs and, since I'm using gateways which have transaction fees, I would like to avoid refunds if item isn't in stock.
