I tried several of those solutions but none of them are working till now. I finally decided to post my problem with all the details I could gather. Problem Description: When I add products to cart, go to checkout and change quantities and it the TECHNICAL ERROR message given below. TECHNICAL ERROR: unable to save update quantity Details: Error thrown: [object Object] Text status: error It does not happen instantly. I can increase the quantity 5-6 times and after that it gives this error. Total products in the cart seems to be 11-13 when this error comes. Moreover, this error comes mostly when I increase quantity by CLICKING + sign. When I manually type the desired quantity, the TECHNICAL ERROR does not come until 22-35 total products. After this TECHNICAL ERROR, I can no longer access my website. It shows the following error message. Bad Request. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. Cookie I tried finding out which cookie is causing this problem and found it is the following cookie. I have a CART page on ID#14 in my SEO & URLS at PREFERENCES > SEO & URLS section of prestashop back office. Unfortunately, as I am using shared hosting, I do not have access to server and none of the server related values can be changed. My hosting provider asked me to look at their VPS offers (which is costly). Any other solutions? In addition, you should have them increase your memory_limit a bit more in php settings (php.ini). If your host can't do this for you, you need to find another host. As your shop grows, you will quickly need this limit increased... well it seems like you already do. Hope this helps! PS. I dont know what happened but I am not getting the errors any more. Will test the site for a few more days though. Memory limit: 128M for both previous and present host. Cookie size gets even larger than before, as I keep adding products or increasing quantities.
